Beechwoods

Gig this evening so I needed into collect a van first thing this morning. Always a bit of a faff, all the small vans were out so I was given a massive great thing which is somewhat unwieldy.

H and I then took the dogs to Beechwoods, one of my favourite places and the dogs loved it.

A gig this evening, playing at a surprise 30th birthday party using our new desk and stand in sound man ( Don who runs Jam night). Technically it was all excellent, we played pretty well apart from a couple of glaring errors, which to be fair we recovered from with a fair degree of hilarity. It took a long time to get the audience going though, there were a few people dancing for most of it but it was only once we hit the second half that they really got going. Packed up and home in under 45 minutes so that’s a record as well.
