Clearance

Another miserable grey day.. no excuse not to fulfill indoor jobs one of which is pictured. My kitchen drawer for utensils has been chaos for ages. Sometimes it jams with something stopping it from either opening or closing. Time for action! I laid out its entire contents and listed them. 86 things!! Having selected the things I use I was left with a bunch of things I need either to store elsewhere or to donate to charity… in the end I returned 46 things and there is masses of space! Great!! Inspired I went through the pots by the cooker too. It seems all my cake spatulas (I had 8 of different sizes and uses) were all melted (I blame the children who don’t realise plastic spatulas melt in hot soup as they are used to silicone which doesn’t) and the theee silicone ones had all got chunks missing from being used in the magimix and the blade has sliced its way through the soft silicone.. I have thrown all but two away.. more space again. Yippee!
I have then spent most of the day starting to make Christmas presents. I am sewing things for the girls which has been on hold while our eldest was staying here. Busy busy. I watched the British Legion service of remembrance on bbc. Excellent as always
