Painting

I haven't painted anything really for months but the recent Notan drawing course is awakening a few ideas and today I decided to paint the picture I drew last week. After all this week being lived in a grey gloom weatherwise it was nice to achieve some sunshine in the painting!! 
It has been a quiet day but I did a run to the charity shop this afternoon only to find the parking situation and the huge amount of traffic meant I couldn't get a park close enough to the shop so I will have to try going in early tomorrow morning or next week perhaps. I have so much that my car has no space for anything and I am looking forward to getting rid of it all!
My husband has gone to Rome to spend a few days with our youngest and have a short holiday..by the time I wake up he will be above the grey and gloomy clouds and on his way to a rather warmer and sunnier place. I hope they have a lovely few days together
