Checking out
I was going to do this blip in the morning on my laptop but then it occurred to me that I could just as easily do it on my phone.
It's not very exotic or complicated but just a compilation of three images I took when I wandered down the as yet unnamed new street opposite (I think it might be called Fyfe Street but I'm not sure). The final stages of getting the new development ready for occupation are evident. I like the fact that the images that are on the large piece of concrete we saw being manoeuvred into place on Sunday are also echoed in the metal screens that separate some residents' garden areas from the new street.
Round the other side, over by our storage facility, they are completing the landscaping. It should eventually give access to the river bank. We do find it a relief that the scaffolding has now gone from opposite us and we are lucky to be able to look straight down the new street.
It was a relief to work at home with only one online meeting. I tried to catch up on my work and then did a fairly long but not very strenuous peleton workout that was designed to, and actually did, make me feel better and energised. However, unsurprisingly the week has caught up on me and I retreated to bed early as I was falling asleep over my book, and it's from there that I'm posting my blip.
