Reflections

While it was a grey day, it was dry, reasonably warm except when the wind swung round to the east in the afternoon, and pretty much completely windless. This generated some pretty stunning reflections, which I photographed on the phone as we took a circuitous route to the market via Ocean Terminal, the Victoria swing bridge and The Shore.

At the market, baked goods were procured and we also had a coffee and a catch up with meles and DaveH. Definitely long time, no see with DaveH.

On the way back, we popped into the supermarket to pick up some supplies. As often, Saturday afternoon was quiet. I tried to doze a bit, but it wasn't really happening. I also read a bit, but every time I did, I wanted to doze. I put the heating on for an hour for the first time this autumn. Astonishing. Later on, Mr A baked some sea bass and made an excellent vegetable couscous to go with it. Delicious. We ate it with a white wine from Aldi's Unearthed range, which we just discovered today.

A restorative Saturday.
