Outside Westminster Abbey

This morning I met a friend and we went to the City of London area…first a walk around including Leadenhall Market and then we went up the Outlook building in Bishopsgate (204m) and then Horizon 22 next door;  which is the second tallest building in London(278m) , after the Shard (310m). Unfortunately it was rather misty/foggy so not the best day for good views. See one in extras. You can see the Skygarden building(160m)  looks much lower…but is much nicer inside because of all the plants and nice restaurants/ cafe/seating.

We then went back to Westminster Abbey and went to see all the poppies on display. Both of my husbands parents served in WW2 so we always look out for the crosses for their regiments, plus my sons regiment too.

It was really chilly today, I was just about warm enough but need to wear a thicker coat next time!
