Ibis in our yard

I don't think I had ever seen an ibis before, until we moved to Florida. My first encounter with them was to see a group nonchalantly walking down the street! 

This morning I looked out the front window and about seven American white ibis were finding some tasty insects in-between the jasmine ground cover. They can fly of course, but I see them walking quite often.

More bird news... I had put a new bird feeder up a few days ago and had been waiting (patiently?) to see some visitors. Today, a red bellied woodpecker and a few palm warblers were seen enjoying breakfast. Happy for these small things....
