In Hiding

Another gloomy day. After his walk Merlin hid himself away. I decided the best course of action was to get outside and do something active.

Good to:
- Pop up to the farm shop and get some mealy worms for the birds in the garden. I’ve made a bird feeder from an old milk bottle. I’m giving it a test run to see if it works.
- To chat with folk at the allotment. The wish for sunshine was something everyone mentioned.
- To see a kestrel overhead as we walked Merlin this afternoon. It flew freely, then hovered, before diving down into the grass.
