Heard the news when I woke up and decided not to listen to any more during the day. Went to upholstery and made good progress. I was a bit worried that the fabric wouldn’t behave well under tension and the checks would go all wonky , but all good so far! Home lunch and tidying up, before I walked up to the hairdresser. It took a long time as she had another client who had been slotted in whilst I had the colour on my hair, but it took much longer so they gave me a complementary hair treatment. I would have preferred to have finished earlier. Got home just in time for an early supper and then drove to Bridge. We thought we had played very badly but actually came 5th, so not bad at all!
