The blackberries are ripening

I'm pleased that the blackberry plant I planted a couple of months ago, has grown upwards and along the wire fence above the retaining wall. And now it has a number of berries. They start as green and many of those first berries have turned red, before becoming black. I am hopeful that the blackberry bush will continue to prosper, and that we may get enough to enjoy.
