A sunny, spring day..um, no, it's November. It felt more like spring with a high temperature this afternoon of 20 C.

So I sent the owner a text message tonight and I sent one to her nephew. I actually had a response from both of them. The nephew wanted to give me a hard time about only giving 28 days notice instead of 30. I told him if either of them has a problem with that, then we can have a discussion with the tenancy board about all the violations. He claims he was not aware of any violations. I listed the 2 biggest ones and asked him if he wanted me to continue. # 1 was not giving me a copy of the signed lease. He claims he left a copy on top of the fridge. It was never there. And if he did leave a copy there, it means he was in the house after I took possession, and he never gave me notice that he was going to be here. Then the owner sent me a text to say she had received my email. She also said that she would send the money she owes me for the gardening.

Other than that, it was a good day. Several cleanups completed. If the weather cooperates we should have them finished by the 18th or 19th of November, and that includes a couple of days to move my gardens.
