Faded

It has only taken a month for the bunch of flowers to get to the point of requiring to be 'put to rest'.
Not too bad I would say.

The new settee and chair which were due to be delivered 'before Christmas' has been moved to 17th November......... No we mean tomorrow lunchtime!

Hells Teeth!
That has meant a lot of moving stuff about.....and a trip to the charity shop with dozens (and dozens) of CDs and DVDs (amongst other stuff).
I just hope the guys are good enough to help get the old settee out first - otherwise I am going to have to bring the chainsaw inside - and I can't see ANY pluses to that.

Late afternoon we headed into the outskirts of town (which took an hour) to go and visit and have a meal with Mags .... SWMBO's oldest (well - longest known) friend.
It was good to see SWMBO chatting 'normally' for most of the time. I knew it was time to head for home though when she started having problems finding the occasional word and slowing down.
