Oriental Short-Clawed Otters

There are 11 otters in Edinburgh Zoo and today we were lucky enough to spot them when they were lying on their favourite slab. They are so funny to watch as they clamber over each other as the search for the most comfortable spot.

A great day for a wander round the zoo....relatively quiet just one school group and a number of toddlers with mums who were struggling to keep up.

We did take a trip in the courtesy taxi up to the top of the park where we visited the giraffes and had our picnic lunch. It's quite a steep walk up ..... not quite so bad walking down!
