A big poppy

Yesterday I made this poppy from a pattern I found when clearing out craft  magazines. It is rather bigger than I anticipated…I may make another one using smaller needles maybe. Luckily I have a stash of buttons inherited from my mother and aunt..many are probably 70-100 years old. The pattern is in the extra …I know a few blippers who might like this!

Today was another very gloomy day and chilly.
I went to an exercise class that was not fun at all but maybe good for me? The instructor we used to have in this time slot was great, smiley, nice music and good routines. This one is none of these and has a foreign accent I find difficult to understand too! 

This afternoon I went to help with gardening club…..I had to wait so long for a bus and after half an hour of waiting I got on another one which only goes part way and walked the rest about another 25 minutes.. ..so I got there very late! It took over an hour for a journey that takes less than 15 minutes to drive!! My husband came to pick me and grandson up and took him home via Lidl where I bought some two stem Amaryllis plants for £3.99 each…a bargain. I rarely go to Lidl but pop in occasionally as they often have good plant deals.
