I Spy with my Little Eye

Because I have spent almost the whole day having an eye test and then waiting in a queue to get prescription eye drops for dry eyes, the only photo I have taken is one of pairs of glasses tried on and rejected. Why my eye test took so long I will never know but I went into the shop at 9:30am and exited at 12 noon although some of that time was taken up trying on specs and getting the bifocal measurements taken  for them. I don’t know how it’s possible to take time to choose glasses when an assistant is standing beside you with possible pairs suspended from every finger of his hand. This yearly deficit in my bank balance  is so annoying and had I not stood on last year’s frames and buckled them I might have suggested just a change of lens in them.

Anyway that’s my physical and eyesight MOTs done and dusted for another year. I’m just glad I don’t have a mental check up on the cards- that might not go so well!
