Mourning in America

I am struggling to find the right words.  I am heartbroken.   Last night, America chose hate over hope. I am so ashamed of my country.  When I saw this at the back of my field this morning  it reminded me of a quote from Walt Whitman, "Keep your face always toward the sunshine—and shadows will fall behind you".   It is all I can do now.
