Remember This?
Tony and I headed into the City once more for second breakfast at Gail's after seeing Euan into school. It's a good job we don't have one handy at home or else second breakfasts could become a thing. Afterwards we strolled through to the bus stop and picked up some colourful ribbons from an art and needlework shop. Those should keep me in twiddlemuffs for some time. We also fell across a Danish shop with some lovely Christmas bits and pieces but it's too early to be thinking of C yet.
I had a parcel delivered here yesterday which contained some extra track for Euan's tramway Lego and Mousetrap, a game we played when I was a child and one which our girls played too. Before we collected Euan I checked out that it worked when assembled as I recall it being problematic back in the day. Having established it did work, I took it to bits again so that Euan could follow the instructions. As you can see it has been a big hit with Granny's mouse being caught in the trap innumerable times!
