Round and About

Being the first Sunday of the month, our local church service was at 11.00am, so with preparations for that the morning disappeared. In the afternoon, I had to do my monthly volunteering task of recording myself reading articles from Round and About, the island news magazine. Someone else collates all the recorded articles then the tapes get posted to  whoever has requested them. This month’s was a bit of a marathon because there were only three of us available for reading and some of the articles were quite lengthy.
Once I had completed that task it was time to go with Bertie for a walk then start preparing our evening meal, a special treat of roast pork (locally reared).
