Leeds street scene.

Back in Leeds this afternoon to see 'Noises Off', a fabulous farce with immaculate timing.

Interestingly I first saw this show 10 years ago for my 50th birthday. Today it was Chris's treat as he was unable to go on that occasion. We finished our outing with a lovely fishy meal at Loch Fyne in City Square.

Our route to the theatre was along The Headrow, a main shopping thoroughfare in Leeds, and enroute I took this shot of two young people sitting under the statue of a man with a barrel. They spotted me and the boy obviously thought he had escaped the camera.
Retuning on the same route a band was playing in the same spot ( see inset).

Cities in the summer are certainly vibrant if rather hot. Another trip next week, don't think I've ever been to Leeds so much in one month.
