Hovering after the rain.

Very dramatic thunderstorm this morning followed by intense heat. Needless to say the rain is back now but in between I had an inspection of the garden.

Many things have taken a battering. These remaining poppies were just holding on long enough to remain of interest to the hoverflies and a bee.
