Tasty

A very low key day since our planned bike ride was not going ahead (V is home now after spending the night at her son’s, just resting and getting used to crutches). The weather was a bit miserable anyway though….dull and grey but fairly mild.
Had a chat to Mt this morning, on his way to the dump, about his busy weekend whilst H and the weans are visiting a friend of hers, his travels next week and what their Christmas Day routines are since I’ve not had Christmas with them before and want to make sure it goes well when they come up this year.
I felt at a bit of a loose end so worked on the photo editing project that I’d started yesterday then decided to go and do some shopping. I had a few things I needed to get but otherwise just browsed a bit and wandered around the Fort’s various shops. I found a few bits and pieces to stash away and had a good look at various other things.
Home with an Eccles cake from M&S and after I’d washed the floors I made some tea and had a sit down to enjoy them.
Texted back and forth with T (off to Egypt for a week’s holiday before he starts his new job) and FaceTimed A who’s been doing some work to catch up this weekend but was in the midst of cooking up lots of apples for the freezer, as well as having made an apple cake for the week.
