Swollen

A slightly frustrating day waiting in for my new freeview box, and then receiving an email saying they'd tried to deliver but I was out!. Sooo annoying!
I sorted out my bedroom a bit, then had a review done of my broadband and mobile contracts which saved me some money, then started reading some papers for a meeting tomorrow. Having given up on the delivery I then popped over to take V some flowers and cheer her up - she's very bored just sitting with her leg up. She showed me the bruises on her head and arm, but it's her swollen knee and calf that are really bothering her. We chatted about what happened, and then her brother arrived who's staying with her for a couple of days and we chatted about our plans to do the Five Ferries cycle ride next May and looked at the route. I left them to have their supper and drove home through a lot of traffic, stopping to buy a baking potato and salad for supper, then had to park on the next street as there was mayhem on my street with lots of double parked cars and deliveries....its been bad recently and very annoying.
