Scarecrow

A scarecrow seen on on today's trip to Beamish Museum.  Another good day with plenty to see.  I have attached a couple of extras.

1)  Annfield Plain Co-op Store - I believe that it opened in about 1870 and when it closed it was bought brick by brick to Beamish Museum where it opened in the Victorian town in1984.  There is a drapery, grocery and hardware department.
2)  The Grand Cinema - again brought brick by brick from Ryhope in Sunderland to Beamish where it was rebuilt.  It opened in July 2024.
3)  Another scarecrow.
