Survivor
(3/11/24)
Sadly, I didn't get around to posting this on the day, but it is still a tradition I'd like to keep - to post a picture of a cancer survivor on the last (or second last) day of October.
The day was busy at the "office" and after, and neither G nor I were in the mood for a photo shoot, so I am using a snapshot from the video I made a couple of weeks ago. You can watch the video here if you are interested.
It is Diwali today, so the plan was not to venture out as we anticipated the roads would be chocker block. However, a friend of SweetArt was passing through and being put up at a hotel by the airline. SweetArt asked if we could drop off a package that we have for her for her friend to carry on. No problem, once we got the location of the hotel. We waited until after we'd eaten dinner and went out after 9 PM. The roads were surprisingly clear, or we'd missed the worst of the queues.
Package delivered, we came home via Carrefour in Wafi where we hoped to have a kulfi ice cream on a stick but they only sell them in packs of 5 and we wanted to eat it NOW. We couldn't risk bringing a pack home because we didn't have a cool bag on us and I wasn't sure how long it would take to get home. As it turns out, we got home in ten minutes, the usual time it takes. There you go.
For the last time this year, may I ask you to please click on this link to help towards breast cancer awareness? Thank you.
