And a new work week begins, for me, at least. G spent much of the morning working on a BCAM presentation for her 4get-me-not group. Thankfully, much of the work had been done before, putting together the pictures she needed. Now, she is adding text/telling her story.
I had a good day, getting lots done. That's always a great feeling. The big thing today was getting a few things seen to on the medical front. We saw our friendly GP again who makes things so simple. And as we were on Beach Road, we drove a bit further and the car had a bit of spa treatment as well by way of an oil change. The benefits of loyalty proved themselves today.
Since the car had its detailing in August, we've been meaning to clear the stuff that was in the glove box. It all got neatly put in a bag and placed in the boot. The main reason for not tackling this earlier is because it is SO HOT outside. Tonight though, we had a lovely breeze, so G took the bag out and sorted the papers out. She pulled out the booklet in which the garage records the services. It turns out that after you've paid for four oil changes, the fifth is FREE. Hooray! All I had to do was pay for the oil filter.
We came home via Wafi, needing to visit the pharmacy there and do a little shop for essentials. The birthday gift we were supposed to get for a friend will have to wait until tomorrow. We ran out of energy by 9, but it's been such a productive day.
