Flight of the Oystercatchers

It’s one of those days when the sea has a milky stillness about it - soft and dreamy.  We’re walking along the coastal path from Llanfairfechan having given up on feeding the ducks in the boating lake; there are very few ducks there today and they show no interest in G’s carefully prepared duck food. The oystercatchers are too far out to interest Lili, but I love seeing them following one another across the bay towards their roosting place along the coast. In extras,  Lili is enjoying herself sitting/standing on one of the coastal benches, looking somewhat disheveled in her mummy’s hat!

Then it’s back home to a buffet of Christmas party foods and Strictly - it’s one time when I’m grateful for the early Christmas stock in Tesco!

I’m behind with blips again, so this is my second entry today - Friday’s entry is https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3299739700654246200
