Atmosphere

The first round proper of the FA Cup saw National League Aldershot Town visiting Valley Parade. 

The Shots started brightly, took the lead after half an hour and maintained that lead into the break. Three second half goals from Bradford turned things around though, so it is City that progress to the second round with a 3-1 win.

This was the first Saturday afternoon game post-clock’s back, and the closest to bonfire night. A combination of mist and firework smoke added atmosphere to the floodlit scene as the game approached its conclusion.
