Foxing Mr Fox
Much as I like wildlife in our garden, I'm rather cross with the fox(es). Overnight one/some dug up some of the bulbs that I planted yesterday. I know that it was a fox/foxes because he/she/they left a calling card. To guard against future rummages in the flower bed in front of our spare bedroom, this afternoon I installed some cloches, as blipped.
I've focused on admin today, trying to get through a backlog of outstanding work that I would really like to clear before we set off on a wee holiday on Monday. A major achievement has been to (finally) transfer Mummy hazelh's premium bond account from paper-based to online. What a carry-on this has been. I was so frustrated with the process a few days ago that it drove me to tears.
Today I also brewed soup from the remains of last night's rather disappointing sweet potato curry, and created a roast pepper and tomato concoction for supper. The latter was in an attempt to use up the contents of our fridge before our time away.
Exercise today: none (rest day).
