Swiss adventure

For the last six years I've come to the Swiss ski resort of Verbier where they hold a magnificent music festival at the end of July.

I love the journey here too. Flying to Geneva and then taking the train from the airport to Martigny, along the edge of Lake Geneva and going through such wondrous places as Lausanne and Montreux. It is so beautiful.

At Martigny you change to the rack railway to climb the first part of the mountain journey to Le Chable. The photo was taken just before we arrived there. (Through the window)

The final stage is on the post bus. Dramatic views but no chance of a clear shot.

Music and interesting people. I shared half of my journey with two fascinating musicians from Rio. This week is going to be fun.
