Feeling autumnal

An early visit to the plot. I incinerated some old paperwork of Mum's. I started to strip the bean canes but my feet & fingers were too cold, so picked greens - perennial kale, Cavelo Nero, & purple sprouting brocoli, then sat in the car with the heater blasting while I drank my coffee.
Down to CK. Mum was sat at the table colouring in. Breakfast made, set the washing machine going, then walked Indie. The DWT have been replacing old fence posts around the heath, so the perimeter has been cleared of brambles made another area easily accessible, our route this morning.
Back at Mum's, we labelled the chutney made yesterday. Katrina arrived to do Mum's feet. Her 6 weekly apt. I dropped some veggies over to Alison, then it was time for Mum's lunch.
I drove to Trago Mills drive through to pick up compost for G&J, grabbed a sandwich to go in the Coop. 31/2 hrs gardening at BT before heading back to Chudleigh.
