Tiny mushroom

I left the house today!  Feeling a little bit better, so I got out for a very short walk around midday - just to the entrance of the Cairn, which is thankfully very close by.  It was a lovely damp autumnal day; very atmospheric.  I perched on a bench for a few minutes, then walked a little further along the low path to the next bench - was about to sit down, then noticed this teeny tiny mushroom growing out of it.  It was very soggy, too, so I decide to just snap a few photos, rather than get my bum wet.

Headed back home (slowly) after that, and watched the budget with Tim.  Couple of concerning things, but overall some glimmers of hope in there (funding for public services), I think/hope.

My Mum was discharged from hospital today.  Mixed feelings about this, as she still had very high blood pressure, and a suspected UTI - but they gave her some medication for both and shipped her home via hospital transport.  My sister went over to her house to receive her.  Thankfully she got back shortly before the evening carer arrived, so that they could hoist her into bed, etc.
