Called the docs this morning, to get myself signed off for a while. Couldn't get an appointment, but got sent a link to an online form to request a sick note, and told I could call again tomorrow to potentially bad an appointment on Friday.

Shortly afterwards, got a message from my sister saying that my Mum had been taken ill again and an ambulance had been called. She was confused again, very sleepy, and had very high blood pressure. She was taken into hospital and eventually (after a few hours in the ambulance) admitted. My sister stayed with her until 11pm, bless her. So frustrating not to be able to offer to go and help :(
