Roses

Two of the gardens where we did the cleanups today had some roses in bloom. This one was a creamy white one. It is the first time I have seen this one bloom and I have been working on the property for 5 years. We go there once a month, so it is easy to miss seeing some of the roses bloom. I deadheaded them when we were there in August, so that, combined with the warm weather we have had this fall encouraged them to bloom again.

It was much cooler today than it has been. The temperature, according to my phone, when I left the house this morning was 2 C. This afternoon the high temperature might have reached 7 C. Forecast high for Thursday is 17 C!
