Bark Cloth, Venetian Blinds

This picture has neither bark cloth nor Venetian blinds, but when I see my plants silhouetted against these blinds, I’m reminded of my parents’ living room, the one in town, before we moved onto the farm. The windows had Venetian blinds and the drapes were a heavy fabric of purple and greens, tropical leaves I think.
