I think this morning might have been my first visit to the university pool for two months. I did do some swimming in France but that was just at the little pool at the house, so I do feel like I've had a loooong break.

Still, it was all fine: the pool was pretty much empty and I just did half a mile, which felt good. And I felt great afterwards, as I always do. 

I had my guitar lesson at lunchtime and then we drove back up to Kirkby Lonsdale. The chimney sweep was due - and duly arrived - and I had to go back into school for what I hope is the end of this week's shenanigans. 

Still, we had a relaxing evening in front of the fire so all's well that ends well.
