Derelict Sunday

Thank you Marlieske for running the Derelict Challenge.

This weekend I was at a farmhouse in Virginia near Shenandoah. This is old farm equipment put up on one of the barns as decorative. 

If you want to some pretty autumn trees hit yesterday’s entry which I just uploaded because I basically passed out asleep. 

Today we went back and it was just as amazing and felt very different just because the light was different. 

A year ago there was a section where people were literally lying in the road taking pictures. Yes, it was that gorgeous, and yes, they were off their nut (? Do I remember the slang correctly?). They were not doing that this year - because there was a ranger there! Today there were fewer people than yesterday, either because it was Sunday or because we got there a few hours earlier. 

Adorable bit - there were some kids along the side of the road in ghost costumes waving! And one of them had “HONK” in big letters on his phone. 

Israel hit Iran’s weapons factories and now Iran will not be able to export weapons to Russia for a while.
