Gosh , Luther series finale had me on the edge of my seat. There can't be another series, there's no-one left!
I went into the meadow at the back of the house just before sunset- more due to a late finish in work than by design. These small orange butterflies seemed to be fairly static on the grasses. I wonder if the roost like birds. They were a lot less skittish than during the day for sure and I could use the tripod and the remote shutter release ( new present to myself for my 200 blipday)
It was a bit windy so I took loads and had just a few in focus. The butterfly was considerate enough to perch on an interesting seed pod.
