A Watery Day
Today we had a restful day, the clocks changed here too, so we enjoyed the extra hour in bed before heading down for breakfast. We headed for the beach after that and spent the morning relaxing and swimming.
My blip has lots of water in it. Some of the fish which were keeping me company around the jetty -there were five or six different varieties ranging in size from 2 - 6 inches long and, not much distance from where I was swimming, some of around 18 inches long!
The small boat heading out to sea had several of our group onboard and was heading off on an excursion to various places including several we'd already been to. The larger view is of the bay outside our window and the other a local fisherman.
He came into the jetty while I was swimming and had pulled on board a couple of large creel type fish traps. I asked what he'd caught and he replied "nothing" and proceeded to rebait them with some mussels which he had broken open. He then headed off to the next trap and it was then that I realised that he was the standing rower I had seen the other day.
Today's extra shows the sun newly risen this morning then a series of sunset shots taken from our balcony. I've been meaning to take them every day but kept forgetting. The change of hour has made a huge difference. It was completely pitch dark by around 6pm.
