Hawkshead and Tarn Hows.
The beauty of the South Lakes on an autumnal Sunday is something to be treasured.
Sunshine and blue skies whilst driving up from Yorkshire and, although much cloudier, a glorious walk from Hawkshead to Tarn Hows. An equally lovely stroll down to Tom Gill beck and waterfall before walking all the way round the tarn. It was much quieter than anticipated given it's half term holidays which was a fantastic surprise.
After walking back to Hawkshead there was time for a look in a few of the little shops. I love looking at the locally produced bits and bobs including candles, jewellery and so on.
Strictly results coming up soon...odds on Punam going home tonight. Despite Chris and Dianne being bottom of the leader board I can't see them being in the dance off, which I'm glad about. :-)
