Lichen
We had an enjoyable time at Katy and Colin’s. Another couple who used to spend half the year in NZ were there too.
This morning I did some food prep for friends coming tomorrow evening as I’ll be busy with Ella and Nathaniel.
While Mr C went to do the food shopping and pick them up this morning I took the opportunity to get in a quick walk. It’s difficult now it will be getting dark by 4.30. I went to the moor by Pennystane Lane and decided to reach the upper carriage drive by a steep path I rarely use. I hadn’t realised how eroded it had become so it ended up being a bit of a scramble to get up. I made it and came back across the moor and through the woods. It wasn’t even 3.5 miles but perhaps the effort makes up for that?
I’ve got an hour to do a bit of the coat - I’m almost at the decreasing so I must be careful as there’s both the sleeve edge and the front slope with different decreasing.
The blip is coming lichen I spotted on the lower carriage drive.
