Calendar

It was an early start to get down to Newcastle for Ella’s basketball match at Ventu, the arena where the Eagles play. It’s certainly a popular sport in the area with league matches going on through the morning on all the courts. We didn’t notice Ella had got injured early on but when they came out she showed us all the skin hanging off the inside of her mouth. Though they were 9 all at half time Gosforth were well beaten.

It wasn’t a great day for James and Nathaniel’s teams either as both lost. James played well though and Nathaniel was man of his match, scoring a goal and has been made team captain from now on. Better luck next week!

My wool to finish my coat has finally come from Shetland so I’ll have to get my knitting mojo back.
