I was extremely tired today after waking up in a panic by a huge explosion of thunder and flash of lightning right overhead! I wish I'd bothered to get my tired body up and grab my camera though to try to get a shot of the lightning.

I was tempted to have an afternoon nap this afternoon and I was actually about to lay down on the bed, but then pulled myself together and thought 'what areyou doing, you lazy old toad!', so trotted off under the foot tunnel to Canary Wharf and back. It's amazing how much energy you get when you get out of the house and start walking.

I saw this red Chevrolet parked in Canary Wharf, advertising a truck stop food festival.
