Rydal Boathouse

We took advantage of the clocks going back to get out early for a drive into the Lakes.

Weather set fair and we were the first to park  at White Moss.  We walked around the lake and up to Rydal Caves.  By the time we reached the special tree, the light wasn't great but it improved as we did the circuit.  

Lots of people out enjoying the lovely weather and scenery.  We stopped off at Blackwell on the way home for coffee and there may have been cake too.  Feeling rather full now.  A few others in extras.
