The Prom

A lovely sunny day here.  Balmy and even a bit warm with no wind.  Nice.

We walked into Grange for a few bits of shopping and it was so good to get out and have a leg stretch.  Coffee at the Hazlemere (of course) and I had the White Peony tea which was very refreshing.  Nipped up to the tea shop above the cafe and bought a new tea strainer and some peppermint tea leaves.  Got home to discover an almost identical tea strainer in the cupboard.  I am getting old!

Today would have been my Stepfather's 94th birthday and it is my stepbrother's 54th birthday.   Texted stepbrother who can't quite believe he is 54 and thinking a lot about my stepfather.
