The early morning skies were especially enjoyable as the wind increased and the sun returned again. A couple of hours strolling around part of the 90 acres my “new” welly boots rewarded me with dry feet when home but a rather damp Dippy. A warm drink with Vivienne in the warmth of her Aga driven kitchen, she’s been struggling with Hives for six weeks but trying to get her to go to the doctors is nigh on impossible.After a shower and some tidying plus some useful phone calls and emailing I headed back to Treyhill to collect some essential items which I had stored there. Off then to Bideford for some food shopping and a visit to Appledore fish market and for a wander around town with Dippy. Instow beach provided some socialising for Dippy before heading to the Yacht club for a rendevouz and peppermint tea. A couple of hours later having met some lovely friends from a while back we headed back to Amadeus and a meal of mussels, and a cuttlefish noodle stir fry.
