Sally Mair - Loving life

Porto Novi

We'd heard talk of a nearby marina so decided to go for a walk today to check it out!
I think it is somewhat of a millionaire's paradise!
There are designer shops, tennis courts, swimming pools, hotels and privately owned homes and apartments. Golf buggies with uniformed drivers belonging to the various complexes ferry people around.
There's a security guard on the gate, although there are no restrictions on access at the moment. We splashed out on a coffee each before walking back again past the very fine boats in the moorings.
There are various artworks around the streets, this one of an angel caught my eye in particular. I thought she was beautiful.
Other than that we've had a fairly quiet day, I swam in the sea, did a little washing and tried not to eat too much.
We're not very good at being social in these settings, but have been pleased to find people seeking us out over the last couple of days which has been nice. Generally we've had a good group on our bus and there have been few, if any, disagreements.
It's the last Friday of the month, so here is the art quiz. Eight out of ten for me today.
