Oxford

Lucy and I are having a couple of days away with a bit of culture.

We left home around lunchtime and drove separately as she is going onto Cheltenham after our stay to see her goddaughter.  The apartment we are staying in only has one parking space so we parked her car around the corner, she jumped in with me and then we drove to the park and ride 5 minutes up the road.

First stop was to have a coffee and get our bearings.  Then we had a good wander around.  We climbed the 127 stairs of a church tower opposite the Radcliffe Camera (round building in extra).  The staircase was very narrow as was the platform at the top of the tower but the views made it worth it.

We grabbed something to eat in a Spanish fast food restaurant. It really wasn’t the best but filled a hole.  Then headed back to our home for the next couple of days.
