A field

Today I had visitors - a special occasion so I made a traditional early afternoon tea. And when my electrician messaged to ask if I was in I said yes. So he came too and fitted my new grill part on the oven and got a bonus afternoon tea. There was just time afterwards to go out for a short walk and grab this field at sunset, along with one of the ancient boundary marker stones. They set out the medieval haulage route for Barnack limestone to the river Nene for onward transport to the Wash and cathedral construction in East Anglia.
