Beech trees and fallen leaves, first glimpse.

The Beech trees near the river are starting to lose their leaves although rather slowly as the temperatures recently have been mild, even at night. Some of the lying leaves are quickly turned to mush in the lane as it is an area of deep shade and remains damp. Hopefully there might be more impressive colours as Autumn wears on.
