Medina Azahara

We were up early this morning as we’d arranged to meet up with Mr P’s brother in Seville but we also wanted to visit the Medina (remains of a citadel/Caliphate) in the hills above Córdoba. Very impressive.
We arrived in Seville in time for a late lunch with Mr P’s brother and then we spent the rest of the afternoon with him. It was baking hot in the city. Too hot for us!
We’re staying over with family in Seville so we went there briefly to shower and change and then we had an evening meal with Mr P’s brother and Francisco (my sister in law’s brother, who also happens to be a priest). Late here now but I’ll catch up with everything tomorrow
